Looking for some inspiration on how to set the table at your next wedding or event that is going to be on par with your theme? No matter the style, we’ve got you covered with some excellent ideas:
Classic and Elegant
Looking for a sophisticated air to your table settings? You definitely need to go classic and elegant. Think silver polished flatware for a traditional elegant edge and pair it with clean porcelain or lace for a dainty and intricate feel. Going with softer colour palettes of tableware (such as white or cream plates, and crystal or clear glassware) will give a stylish feel to any table setting and match any colour pops that are trending as your central colour theme for your event. Keep things clean and simple – which goes for the table cloth or table runner and centrepiece as well – and you will have one classic and elegant dinner party on your hands.

Rustic and Organic
This organic and naturalist theme is all the rage right now, and doesn’t show any sign of slowing, so why not incorporate it into your next event? Use the Earth as your best friend and incorporate elements of natural fibres into your place setting by letting a wooden table do the talking, or add in burlap, twine and rings of plants as well. Use a more rustic and industrial colour palette by letting the natural browns, tans and creams weigh heavily on the table, but add a few pops of colour to go with your overall event theme by breaking up the dinnerware. In this style of table setting, it is also completely ok to use more heavier metal flatwares – such as copper, gold brushed, bronze or more warmer tones. Metal is a friend of rustic overtones!

Kitschy and Cool
Parties can be super vibrant depending on your taste, and your tableware should be no different if this is your theme! Whether your stealing the popular naturalistic trend of wooden tables and mixing it with 70’s style cutlery and dinnerware, or mixing bright colours and patterns to make a fun and vibrant centerpiece, this style of table setting is where anything goes! You can use silver or gold cutlery, clear or tapered glassware, funky napkins and added presents to make the table pop! Match everything together – or don’t! Just have with it.
